故事大綱

This one is an easy one! "Pater et Filius" is Latin and means 'father
and son'. Do you know the word 'paternal'? It means of the father. So
your paternal grandfather is your father's father. A few people even
call their father Pater. We also have the word 'filial' which means of
the son or daughter. If you are filial it means you are a good son or
daughter.

This phrase is actually only part of one of two sentances. The first
reads "In n爅ine Patris, et F骴ii, et Sp鬳itus Sancti. Amen." (In the
name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit). The second should
read: "Bened駥at vos omnipotens Deus, Pater et Filius et spiritus
sanctus. Amen." This means "May almighty God bless you, the Father, the
Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen." You guessed right. This is holy
language. Deus means God. The Father also means God. And the Son means
Jesus Christ. And I think you know of the Holy Sprit.

Latin was originally used in Italy and so was used by the Holy Roman
Church. Today it's called the Roman Catholic Church and is headed by the
Pope, who lives in the Vatican in the centre of Rome. And they still use
Latin, even though Latin is no longer spoken by anyone.

These two sentences are at the beginning and the ending of the Holy Mass
or Communion. This is where bread is broken and eaten by believers of
Christianity and wine is drunk. The bread represents the body of Christ
and the wine his blood and is in memory of his death upon the cross and
his resurrection. So it's especially important at Easter. I'm pretty
sure you must do this in your church, too. Only it's not in Latin and
maybe they say different things too. (By the way, in the Catholic church
they don't use bread, it's some kind of dry cracker!)

that that bathroom is not gonna provide me with the privacy that I know I'm

going to need...

Jerry: This could only happen to you.

George: So I finally stop and say, "Tatiana, I hope you don't take this the

wrong way, but I think it would be best if I left".

Jerry: You said this to her after.

George: No. During.

Jerry: Oh, boy.

George: Yeah.

George: So I'm dressing and she's staring up at me, struggling to compute this

unprecedented turn of events. I don't know what to say to reassure this woman,

and worst of all, I don't have the time to say it. The only excuse she might

possibly have accepted is if I told her I am in reality Batman, and I'm very

sorry, I just saw the Bat-Signal. It took me 3 days of phone calls to get her

What's your own reaction to and appraisal of Washburn's music?

I've never thought of combining elements from variety of sources can be so beautiful. Although Washburn has a special accent when she sang in Chinese, but I like her interpret ion. As a foreigner, she is more sensitive to the materials buried in Chinese culture, which we often take for granted ( for example, missing home, feeling at the greatest edge of loneliness, etc.).

We tend to call ourselves "victims", which means things messed up not because of MY decision, but the Gods and environment's will. We'll find someone who have the responsibility to us.
But, it just isn't right! How can we blame other people because our own faults? Every time things turn out to be terrible, we seek for scapesgoats ( I guess it's human nature.) so that we can push away the burdens. Why don't we stop and think clearly-- since when the responsibility has becaome a burden for us? Because our laziness, it is US who made the responsibilites so unbearable!
Hey, you have control over everything arouond you, you have dignity to make it right. Stop fooling around, making excuses and hiding. Step forward, and deal with it-- do things we have to do, when it ought to be done, whether we like it or not.

I don't mean to make you stressful by telling you my feelings about you. I, certainly, know that it's about time for you to leave and grasp the furure-- no matter where it will be. I don't call myself a victim, I don't think you have responsible to me (i.e. giving me a bright and promising future.) If we are both happy when we are together, it's... enough, for my part. Now, the situation is, we are not even together! How can I say such a thing?
I don't know what are thinking about... I don't really understand you... Maybe it's why you told me that you and I, are only "acqutences".
Maybe, being just friend is a wonderful idea! There's no overlapping between our lives, I wonder why...
You are the right person, here's a right place, we are just in the wrong era.

People should have dreams, there should be a clear picture of our dreams in our minds.
In college, it's important to learn the right attitude toword life, to find a powerful belief we'll persuit in the rest of our lives.
Once we step in the society, we would get lost, for certain! We have to fight with the reality-- the food, the money, the family, the children, etc. Dreams might fade away along with time passing.
Many people are busy, busy for daily trivials. They don't meaningful lives, they just prepare for trivial things and lost the whole picture of life... What a desaster!
I will try my best to warm up my dreams, and let it flutter, sing an aria, no matter where I go.

This is a show about nothing; however, for a show about nothing, this show has many complex plots, sub-plots, is very well written and put together. So much so that until the public caught onto the series, the television critics were responsible for helping to keep it alive. The critics further went on and made the series victorious in every category it was eligible for in the 1st Annual American Television Awards. Seinfeld has also won a few Emmy Awards, the George Foster Peabody Award for 1992 and many more. Many of the early episodes were based on the life experiences of series co-creator, Larry David. Stories such as The Stock Tip and The Jacket really happened, as did many others. Across the hall from Larry lived a man named Kenny Kramer, who aside from the physical comedy aspects, lives the life of TV Kramer. Find out all about him at the real Kramer's web site. Some aspects were based on Jerry's life. Jerry's real address in NYC when he was struggling comic was 129 W. 81 St., this is the address used for his building in the series. In the series, Jerry lives in apartment 5A, Kramer in 5B. Viewer Jason Dean Vaupel notes that in a couple of episodes of the second season, Jerry lives in apartment 3A. And Newman's apartment has usually been 5E, but viewer Jeff Holland notes that it sometimes is 5F and that 5E was rented out to someone else as already noted in the episode, The Conversion. Their building is called The Shelley according to viewer Kipp Teague whose discerned that from the awning on the building. However, that building is actually located in Los Angeles, the building at the real address in NYC is much different. Jeff Holland also notes that The Shelley has no visible fire escapes, but there is one outside of Jerry's window. Other aspects are composite of both lives. For example, Elaine's character is half based on Jerry's ex-girlfriend Carol Leifer. Carol joined the production staff in the 5th season. An ex-girlfriend of Larry David's, named Monica Yates, whose father was a noted writer in the other half of the Elaine equation. Larry David once wore a suede jacket that got wet while meeting her father. Another viewer, Bobby Bank, notes that a tribute to Jerry's father is seen in occasional episodes. Jerry's father, named Kal, worked in the sign business, so occasionally in the background you may see a sign that says Kal's Signs. Bobby stated in a trade magazine for the sign industry called Signs of the Times that he... Quote:had the pleasure of meeting and working with Kal in the early 70s when we were producing Jewelite (Bobby's company) letters for him. I remember Kal saying, 'Bobby, you should meet my son Jerry. 一個禮拜meeting一次，一次約兩小時，
不用花到什麼錢就可以練習到說的部分了，
